Hi Everyone,
Here is a great song via YouTube from one of Australia’s top up and coming songwriters.
It is all about how easy it is in school to fall into the trap of not making a stand for our friends or other school members because it is “not cool” or makes us look bad to the “popular kids.”
It has great lyric in the chorus which pretty much states that she was so dumb back then and didn’t know then what she knows now. It is a song of regret and realizing that bullying victims need support and someone to stand by them – not watch them fall.
Anyhow, I really love this song and I hope you do too and that it makes you think. It’s called Caught In The Crowd by Kate Miller Heidke.
